SSS Seminar International and national dimension of trade union action and social dialogue in education and public services During this seminar, fifty delegates of the Public Services Department in the SSS from Serbia discussed the international and national dimensions of trade unions and the social dialogue in The Secretary General took the floor during the solemn opening and warned the political world no to carry through reforms without prior consultations with the staff. He also presented the structure of Infedop and Eurofedop. This first debate demonstrated the urgent need for cooperation in certain sectors. Bert Van Caelenberg gave a survey of the social dialogue in the public services in Europe. The Vice President, Igor Lensky, went in the bargaining practice at the level of the public services in the new democracies. There were workshops on „Public service guarantee of a legislation-based democratic and social State“ and „New forms of employment“. The new organisations are: Civil Servants Federation of Serbia (SDSS), Jurisprudence Employees Federation of Serbia (JEFS). Autonomous Union of Employees in Cultural Institutions of Serbia (AUECIS).
